I’m Silvia, but you can call me Bubbles – I will be your host during your stay! Born and raised in Italy, I have lived in big cities around the world for most of my life. I was a scientific investigator, and enjoyed working in exciting, dynamic, and fast-paced environments. But then, I felt the call for a more laid back and easy-going lifestyle.
I fell in love with Ericeira and began to create a space in this lovely village, where I could live comfortably and connect with nature, a space to share with my friends and family, to enjoy quality time together. Casa Bubbles was born!
Now, I offer my house to those who want to spend some quiet time in a cozy and welcoming environment, surrounded by nature, away from the noise and the stress of the city.
Umolha is my lovely cat: she has access to all indoor areas as well as the outdoors. We both love to meet and hang out with the guests in the common areas, but we are also very respectful of the guests’ privacy.
In the garden there are four free-ranging chickens: Brunilde, Henrietta, Romina, and Antonella. They are hilarious and cuddly and they give fresh eggs every day!
To and Fu are the latest addition to the family: two rescue turtles that have found paradise in a pond on the terrace of Casa Bubbles.
We are all excited to have you here and share this bit of paradise with you!

Casa bubbles in Ericeira
Casa bubbles is located on the hills at the southern end of Ericeira, a charming fisherman’s village famous for being the surfing capital of Europe.
We strive to minimize our carbon footprint and therefore facilitate green practices (recycling, own produce, zero waste), and use sustainable materials and renewable sources of energy whenever possible (solar panels, biofuels).
